My Adblocking server:

How it started:

This is my response to Google stopping all Adblockers. They removed Manifest V2 and opted in Manifest V3 stopping all Adblockers. Of course I could switch to Firefox, or my favourite variant of Firefox, Zen browser, but I still liked ARC more. The problem was that it's chromium based, meaning Adblockers don't work anymore. So the day I began to see ADs, I got to work.

The Making:

I used a X86 SBC with ubuntu server on it. I installed Pi-Hole and set up the block lists and DNS configuration correctly. Then I set the DNS server in the routers config to the IP address of the SBC. Now no one at home would see ADs. Of course I can also use it to block games, scams, etc.
